పలమనేరు ఏరియా ఆసుపత్రిలో వైద్య సిబ్బంది నిర్లక్ష్యం కారణంగా చెడ్డ పేరు తీసుకొస్తే సహించేది లేదని స్థానిక ఎమ్మెల్యే అమరనాథ రెడ్డి సూచించారు. ఆసుపత్రిలో సేవలు సరిగా లేవంటూ ఓ మహిళ సోషియల్ మీడియాలో పెట్టిన పోస్ట్ పై ఆయన వెంటనే స్పందించారు. దీంతో శనివారం ఎమ్మెల్యే ఏరియా ఆసుపత్రిని సందర్శించి ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే ఆసుపత్రి పరిసరాలతో పాటు అన్ని వార్డులను, రోగులకు అందుతున్న సేవలను పరిశీలించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆసుపత్రి నిర్వహణపై తీవ్ర అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేస్తూ పలు కీలక సూచనలు చేశారు.
ఆసుపత్రికి చెడ్డ పేరు తీసుకువచ్చే విధంగా ఎలాంటి నిర్లక్ష్యాన్ని సహించేది లేదని ఎమ్మెల్యే స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఆసుపత్రి పరిసరాలు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉండేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని, రోగులకు నిరంతరాయంగా తాగునీరు అందుబాటులో ఉండేలా చూడాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
పేషెంట్ల పట్ల నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరించే సిబ్బందిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తప్పవని హెచ్చరిస్తూ, ప్రతి ఒక్కరు బాధ్యతగా పనిచేయాలని సూచించారు. రోగులతో మర్యాదగా మాట్లాడి మెరుగైన వైద్య సేవలు అందించడం ద్వారా ఆసుపత్రికి మంచి పేరు తీసుకురావాలని అన్నారు.
